Not A Face Plant, More Like A Face Ride

I haven't ever seen anyone race on it, but I've skied in Kitzbuehel, I saw the Hahnenkamm from the gondola(no snow on it when I went), and I can tell you that you have to be a lot insane to race in the downhill on this course.

"If you couldn't decipher what the Swedish chef was saying, this is American downhill skier Scott Macartney crashing at the World Cup at Kitzbuehel, Austria yesterday. He's doing fine and is expected to make a full recovery, even though he was doing almost 88 mph when he hit the track."

He went from 88 mph to zero using his face as a brake pad. On snow and ice. Sounds comfortable.
