Yet Another Culinary Success

What an excellent recipe. The beef was falling off the bone and could be cut with a fork, not to mention incredibly tasty. The flavor was interesting, as the cocoa and sweet spices mixed well with the Chinese three-out-of-Fivespice blend, and the braising liquid was very tasty when mopped up with some garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. We will definitely be having this again.
